There are days when I am filled with sadness for the state of my nation. There are days when I am filled with frustration, anger, and yes sometimes even rage. The disgusting state of our government, seeking control and the enslavement of its citizens, sometimes makes me wonder if the fight is even winnable. For decades, better men and women than I have stood on liberty’s line and faced down those whose evil appetites want nothing but our freedom, and some days it seems like we are even further in the rabbit hole than ever.
Today is not one of those days. Today I am filled with hope, because this morning patriots from across America will stand in a small town in the Pacific Northwest and say NO. What started as a small group of patriots standing up has gone viral, because we’ve had enough. Enough.
In the aftermath of a horrific event, that has taken lives forever and changed many more, the liberty that belongs to all of us is more at stake than ever. Nine souls were taken last week, by a coward whose name should be forgotten for all time. Their families are devastated, filled with a loss that only others in their position can ever truly fathom.
To us, they are fellow Americans who deserve our love, our support, and our defense. To Obama, they are nothing but a quick stop and photo on the way to a party with Jamie Foxx, where attendance costs $10,000 per person. They are an easy poster child for his agenda of criminalizing gun owners and removing the one obstacle left between the federal government and their dream of total control. To Obama, their dead loved ones were an opportunity. To us, they were Americans.
American Sniper author Chris Kyle is interviewed by Cameron Gray at the 2012 SHOT show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This poignant video shows a very humble and human Chris Kyle talking about his book, his fans, his love for kids, and the Second Amendment .

(NaturalNews) As comedian Bill Burr hilariously points out, if you are stockpiling food and preparedness supplies but don’t have a gun to defend it, all you’re doing is gathering supplies for the biggest bully on the block.
A recent article by Daisy Luther from The Organic Prepper really nails this point by including photos of Black Friday mobs trampling each other in America, then asking the question, “What would these people act like over something that was actually a matter of life and death?”
It’s probably the most important question of the year. America has become a culture where people are so delusional about what’s important that they will literally trample each other to death to save a few dollars on some hot new electronics product. Yet in their own home, they have no storable food, no emergency medicine, no emergency water supplies, no backup source of heat, no water filtration devices and no clue how to survive without all the systems that keep society functioning today (the power grid, municipal water supplies, fuel at gas stations, functioning hospitals, local law enforcement, etc.).

Sometimes when shady plans backfire, they backfire really well. This was definitely the case on Saturday May 31st in Tulsa Oklahoma, as The Oklahoma Open Carry Association met Moms Demand Action for the first time.
The anti-gun group requested a booth at the local farmers market and was denied, so they set up shop right on the outskirts of the downtown Tulsa event in order to gather signatures. They were a bit surprised when members of The Oklahoma Open Carry Association approached them to ask some questions. As is usually the case when dealing with liberals, the questions we asked went unanswered as the host of their event, (who incidentally, didn’t look like that much of a mom seeing as though he was a man) deflected the questions and attempted to change the subject, ridicule and even accuse us of wanting to start a war with the police. This came about because he made it perfectly clear that he didn’t want to be in any public establishment with citizens carrying handguns in the open. He was alluding to his belief that we are just a bunch of untrained rednecks that simply shoot indiscriminately in all directions just to prove how big our egos are.
The 2nd Amendment Action Center reports:
State Senator Floyd Prozanksi, who is in an eternal race with Ginny Burdick for the title of worst Senator, also serves as a prosecutor in Lane County. He was recently working on a case involving an underage drunk driver who ran over and murdered a pedestrian. The killer’s sentence? 45 days in jail and 2 years probation.
From the Register Guard article:Screen Shot 2014-02-18 at 7.50.55 PM
“He was only charged with being impaired when he was driving,” Prozanski said of Stewart. “This was not a trial regarding the collision.”
Lane County prosecutors previously reviewed the investigation and decided against pursuing charges related to the death of Nicholas Asher Tendick, a 32-year-old man who was crossing Coburg Road just south of the Willamette River when Stewart’s Ford Ranger pickup struck him.”
As if this weren’t enough to make you pull your hair out, guess what the punishment would have been for a legal CHL holder carrying in the Capitol building, had Prozanski’s SB699 passed in the 2013 session…
Maximum sentence of 5 years in prison, as a Class C Felony.
Yes, you’ve read this correctly. In Senator Prozanski’s dreamland, carrying a gun on your hip deserves 40 times the punishment than vehicular homicide would carry.
Though not sponsored by Prozanski, 2013′s SB 346 would have carried a 1 year imprisonment for transferring a magazine that held 11 rounds. SB 347 would have carried the same Class C Felony punishment as the above Capitol building ban if a CHL holder had their gun on them while dropping off their kid on school grounds. The dreaded HB3200 would have taken the cake, with a 10 year imprisonment for not registering an 11 round magazine.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the ineptitude we are dealing with amongst our elected “leaders” in Salem.

Oregon state Senator Diane Rosenbaum and state Representative Carolyn Tomei try to intimidate a constituent, dodge his question, are caught lying about what transpired at the SB1551 hearing, and in the end threaten to kick out the videographer… All while never answer the original question, and, in turn, they refuse to condemn the unethical and shady behavior of Senator Floyd Prozanski leading up to and during the gun bill hearing, essentially meaning that they are OK with such shenanigans.

Casey Runyan voices his protest over the admittance of Mark Kelly‘s testimony. He is promptly silenced by the committee chair Floyd Prozanski, and then deals with the stare down by Oregon State Police and Governor John Kitzhaber’s security detail.

Today’s hearing in Salem, Oregon on SB 1551, Senator Prozanski’s gun registration expansion, was an enlightening look at how the left and the right view the gun control vs. gun rights issue. Former astronaut, Mark Kelly, husband of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, provided a little celebrity cache to the hearing but, it was the personal testimony of dozens of regular Oregonians that dominated the proceedings. While gun owners are often referred to as a “vocal minority,” the sign-up sheets for testimony showed 19 people in support of the bill, with 28 opposed.
Portland media outlets were out in full force today and the nightly news broadcasts are peppered with snippets from today’s testimony. What you won’t see in the MSM is the full testimony from impassioned Oregonians who got up at the crack of dawn to make sure they got on the list to testify. Here is the first of five videos recorded today in Salem.
The anti gun crowd continue to use the death of Jessie Doyle as a reason to support more gun controls. Jessi’s brother in law, Chris Cochran, sets the record straight.

This photo from the Portland Police Bureau Central Precinct Range shows Mr. Gabby Giffords firing off a few rounds – was this before or after he testified against Oregonian’s Second Amendment rights.
Mark Kelly had no compunction about coming to Salem, Oregon today to join the likes of Gov. John Kitzhaber and Sen. Floyd Prozanski, D- Eugene to speak in favor of taking away my rights and require expanding background checks to private gun sales. He has the unmitigated gall to argue that making me, a woman, defenseless is the right thing to do and sees nothing wrong with requiring me to provide all manner of information if I buy or sell a gun privately.
